FOUNDER CEO NETWORK – INTERNATIONAL SPEAKER – BROADCASTER
Deborah Bartlett is founder and creator of Bartlett Communications (BMC). In 2006, Ms. Bartlett was awarded a radio license and the GEMS New Media network was established.
Bartlett Communications & the GEMS New Media Network (105.9) are now responsible for both radio and television production as well as online services for the multi-media company. Ms. Bartlett’s strengths include business creation and development, which she is quite proficient in. These business developments have increased to incorporate relationships with the Sheridan Broadcasting Network in the United States with 30 million listeners and Right Side Productions Radio and Television programs with Armstrong Williams.
Prior to the establishment of BMC & GEMS 105.9, Ms. Bartlett worked for the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas for 20 years. She served in various capacities including radio & television news anchor and chief news editor. Her involvement extended to working as the Assistant General Manager of several divisions including, television, news and sales & marketing.
Ms. Bartlett’s combined background in broadcasting and business development equipped her for expansion into groundbreaking businesses. In 1997 she founded and established the CEO Network (The Center for Excellence and Opportunity). The CEO Network is an international company whose purpose through conferences and seminars is to inspire and strengthen work ethics, raise levels of productivity, and serve as a networking platform for economic empowerment opportunities.
The CEO Network is poised to expand into television markets, with an expected launch as CEO Network television by the fall of 2015. The vision will be realized and increased as the CEO Network has been approached by CNN to be one of its affiliates. The CEO Network channel will extensively cover Caribbean, Latin American and U.S markets.
Ms. Bartlett earned a BA degree in Mass Communications and Speech from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois and is included in the distinguished community of Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. She serves on the board of Governors of Bahamas Faith Ministries and was awarded an Honorary Degree in Philosophy and Mass Communication from Maharry College. She was most recently appointed co- chairperson of the International Board for the 60th Anniversary of “The Montgomery Boycott”, to be held in 2015.
