Media InSite Launched in Guyana

(Georgetown, Guyana) – Media InSite Guyana (“Media InSite”) in a joint venture with Videomega Productions, was formally launched recently at a Press Conference at Herdmanston Lodge.  Allison Demas, CEO, introduced the company that has been in the making for the last two years with a brief presentation that outlined the need for this resource in Guyana and the rest of the Caribbean as pressing in light of the demand for information on advertising and media effectiveness.  Headquartered in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, the local arm will be represented by Yasmin Bowman and Russel Lancaster, of Videomega Productions, and Ajay Baksh of Perceptions Inc.

Joe Taylor, Vice President, gave an in-depth explanation of the way the way Media InSite uses its proprietary mechanisms to track, store and monitor radio, television, cable and newspaper advertising as well as news content and social media activity in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana and Jamaica.

While the company’s server became operational on November 1 2015, in its two years of contact with the Guyana market it has already attracted some of the biggest businesses in the marketplace.  

The recent launch has put Guyana at the cutting edge of this innovative industry and we are now on par with North America and Europe in the utilization of the latest technology available to monitor advertising and media.
